The best of the recent web virals.

1. Puma Hardchorus

This was released in time for Valentines day, so yes I am a little late, but I really think its worth watching. The best viral from a sports goods manufacturer in a while.

2. Audi V BMW

These two car makers have had a go at each other in the past on billboards (click) , and now they take their friendly rivalry to the online screen in this new viral.

3. Art School Project

A 17 year old art school student uploaded this as part of their final portfolio and probably never expected it to become an internet hit. It’s currently ranked 5th on the Viral Video Chart. Its made with 2100 sheets of paper and a few biros and earned Jamie Bell, the creator, full marks.

4. First Ever Youtube Clip

A bit of tech history for the company that celebrated its 5th birthday earlier this month. This is the first video uploaded to the site and features one of the co-founders, Jawed Karim, in San Diego Zoo.

5. The Google Corner

It seems every week I feature one Google related viral so why not dedicate an entire corner of VT to them? This week I want to ask what does everyone think of Google Buzz? I’m a little disappointed truth be told. Its ugly and lacks any clear focus, a hotch potch of ideas taken from here and there that add’s up to nothing. It doesn’t fulfil what other social network sites do for me, while it also has the feel of an old Yahoogroup or a dated messageboard. Add to the fact it seems to have been forced upon us it doesn’t bode well does it? I’ll give it a bit more time, but until they sort out a nicer interface, collapse conversations to make scrolling easier, I’ll stick with FB, Twitter and Linked In. This isn’t the official Buzz viral but a parody from Comedy.com
