Over the last few months Ryanair have been running various poll’s on what new charge the airline could introduce to raise funds. I’m surprised at how much coverage these poll’s have received in the press, because when it comes to Ryanair there certainly is no such thing as bad publicity.
The costs of flying with Ryanair have increased dramatically over the last year or so to the point where recently friends with one checked bag paid 33% of their ticket on the flight, 33% on taxes and airport charges and another 33% on Ryanair charges.
Ryanair have always been ones to court controversy and this latest round of poll’s has provided them with ample coverage in the media. Some of the stories include;
